Cavi-Vit is speciaal samengesteld voor cavia's. Het bevat een hoog gehalte aan vitamine C omdat cavia's zelf niet in staat zijn vitamine C aan te maken. Vitamine C is nodig voor de aanmaak van bindweefsel. Zonder vitamine C kan de cavia problemen krijgen met tanden, tandvlees, botten, gewrichten, spieren, etc. Tevens zorgt vitamine C voor een gezonde vacht en huid en het houdt daarnaast de weerstand op peil, waardoor de kans op schurft afneemt.
